As Payroll Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, supporting both Head of Payroll and Payroll Team members in delivering seamless payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of both monthly and weekly payroll cycles.
  • Supporting colleagues and Line Managers with payroll queries and administration.
  • Collaborating with Corporate Teams to manage starters, movers, and leavers efficiently.
  • Assisting with HMRC National Minimum Wage enquiries and compliance.
  • Managing auto-enrolment pension processing.
  • Understanding and utilising the rostering system for payroll data input.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex payroll queries related to payments, tax, and pensions.
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR, HMRC, and Pension Regulations

About You:

Essential:

  • Hands-on, high-volume end-to-end payroll experience in a large organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of HMRC compliance, RTI, Statutory Payments, National Minimum/Living Wage, GDPR, and Auto-Enrolment Pensions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong customer service skills

Desirable:

  • Experience using Workday Payroll.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector.
  • A relevant payroll qualification (preferred but not essential)
