Tradewind are an established education agency who work closely with a range of schools in Bedford who are looking for daily supply teachers to support them with short-term absence and course cover. As a daily supply teacher you will be covering lessons for year groups across the school using the plans provided by the permanent staff. You will need to have strong classroom management techniques and a natural ability to build rapport with students quickly. Our partner schools are looking for people who can make a big impact in the short time they are with them. For the strongest teachers, you will often be pre-booked by the same schools on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Supply - following plans left by the teacher and ensuring a good standard of learning takes place
- Build rapport quickly with children and adults alike
- Strong ability to manage challenging behaviour and keep low level disruption to a minimum
- Seamlessly adapt to different schools ethos and ability to follow different behaviour policies

- QTS Qualified
- Enhanced DBS Check on the Update Service
- Able to commute to Bedford
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children from all walks of life
- Reliable and flexible
- Full Driving License
