Primary Graduate TA - Mainstream Primary - Bedford - Temp to Perm

Are you a recent graduate who is considering a career in education? Do you have a keen interest in supporting children with Autism and other learning needs?

Tradewind Recruitment currently work closely with a range of mainstream Primary Schools in Bedford who are looking for their next Graduate super star. These are full-time, term-time only roles and for the strongest candidates, will often lead to full-time employment with the school. Our schools are particularly interested in hearing from recent graduates with degrees in Maths, English, Psychology or a creative subject. Other disciplines will also be considered.

No 2 days are the same working as a primary graduate ta and you can expect a varied and exciting role in which you are constantly learning. You will have the full support of the classroom teachers, Senior Leadership Team and the SENDCO to ensure you are successful in your role. A large part of your role will be supporting children with Autism or other learning needs both within and outside the classroom. No prior experience is necessary but we are looking for people with a genuine passion for childcare and education.

  • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using a range of techniques
  • Build strong relationships with parents
  • Find creative ways to ensure learners are engaged
