Daily Supply Teaching Assistant - Bedfordshire - Flexible work

Are you looking for daily supply TA work in and around Bedfordshire? Are you happy to be contacted in the morning for bookings? Do you drive?

Tradewind are currently working with schools across Bedfordshire who require daily cover to help deal with ongoing sickness and course cover. As a supply Teaching assistant you will be working with a range of different schools and children on a weekly basis. You will need to be flexible in your approach and happy to support the school in whatever way possible during their day with them. For the strongest candidates, you will often be invited back frequently to our partner schools.

As part of this role, you will be frequently working with children with a range of SEND including ASD, ADHD and MLD. It is important you are able to build rapport quickly to ensure that a good standard of learning and behaviour take place during the day. Our schools are looking for people who are pro-active and capable of working with minimal support from permanent members of staff. Prior experience working within Primary Education is therefore essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with children with SEND needs in a range of schools
  • Work closely with permanent staff to ensure a high level of education takes place during the day
  • Build strong relationships with students quickly
  • Find creative ways to ensure learners are engaged
