Year 4 Primary Teaching Assistant - Bedford - ASAP Start - £85-95 per day PAYE

Tradewind are currently working closely with a lovely Primary School in Bedford who are looking to recruit a passionate educator who can effectively support their Year 4 class. This is a full-time position and you will be required to work between the hours of 8:30-3:30 each day with a 30 minute break for lunch.

This large 3 form entry school in Bedford take great pride in offering a varied and enriching curriculum. Every effort is made to ensure that every child receives a tailored learning experience that suits there individual needs. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating this by collaborating with the class teachers and other support staff.

What does your day to day look like;

  • Working 1-1 with children with Autism
  • Strong ability to explain difficult concepts clearly to children with SEND
  • Leading small group sessions outside the classroom in Maths and English
  • Feedback to the parents at the end of each day on the progress of their children
  • Helping support at lunch and break times - facilitating safe play
