We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join our Client; a Global Group who supply leading retailers with an exciting portfolio of Fresh Food focused products. We have the privilege of working in partnership with them and offer the opportunity of Senior QA / Product Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at theirnew state-of-the-art chilled fresh food facility, dedicatedto packing a range of imported fresh produce products. The successful Senior QA / Product Manager will work in partnership with the technical team, fresh produce suppliers, and internal depot quality teams.
Duties include;
- Ensure that all arrivals are inspected as per the retailer quality specification and intake protocol
- Ensure that all aspects of product quality are accurately reported
- Inform the Technical team of any non-conforming product (quality and packaging/ labelling) that is required to be sent for third party repacking or sorting.
- Advise the team of the order of use for stock arriving, based on quality assessment.
- Visit and review quality standards of UK fresh produce growers and packing sites, to ensure product is grown, packed and despatched to specification
We require;
Experience in similar role; Quality, QA, QC, Product at a senior level
Chilled Food / Fresh Produce exposure in previous positions is essential
Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
Excellent man-management ability
QA/QC knowledge
Strong IT skills
Driving licence
Location; Bedfordshire
Salary; up to 40k + excellent benefits
