About the Role:
As a Project Manager with capital equipment experience, you will take the lead on exciting new installation projects, overseeing every phase from concept through to final implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, contractors, and senior leadership to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage capital equipment installation projects from concept through design, procurement, and execution to final completion.
Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all phases are completed to specification.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new equipment into existing systems.
Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues proactively to maintain project momentum.
Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Deliver final project documentation, including as-built drawings, operating manuals, and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in project management, specifically in capital equipment installation within heavy manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with external vendors and contractors.
Solid understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
