Our client have a very large New Build Industrial project with full automation fit out and high specification offices.
They are looking for a lead Senior Project Manager. The successful candidate will need previous experience leading project teams with build values in excess of £50M.
The project is being delivered under a Construction Management contract and will run for 3.5 years.
1M Sq.ft., to include 120 dock levelers and high end offices near Bedford.
Reporting into a Construction Director, you will be responsible for recruiting a team to include a Design Manager, Engineer, Senior Site Manager, a team of Site Managers, Document Controller, H& S Manager and Building Services Manager.
Key attributes will be a strategic thinker, someone with strong client facing skills, planning, process and safety focused. There will also be a full Commercial Team.
- Ideally automated distribution centre experience
- High Value project Experience - £75M +
- Experience managing stake holders, supply chain and direct team
- Autonomous - Safety, planning and process focused
- Project Reporting, to Director and client.
- Planning 3 - 6 months ahead, SSM to a look at 1-3 months and SM's 4 week lookaheads
- Will appoint own team in conjunction with the Director's sign off.
- ASTA or MS proficient
