About the Role

Fetch Recruitmentare seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing cost estimates for construction projects
  • Negotiating and administering contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process
  • Valuing completed works and issuing interim and final accounts
  • Resolving contractual disputes and claims
  • Providing commercial advice to the project team

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management principles
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as Excel, Primavera, and estimating software
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is desirable
