We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Administrator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a permanent basis. Our client is a local Educational trust and they are looking for someone to support the Finance Manager during term time only.
Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Administrator
- Prepare, code and raise invoices.
- Complete month-end processes including bank and petty cash reconciliations.
- VAT Returns.
- Salary and cash-book journals.
- Resolve invoice queries and chase debts.
- Supplier statements.
- Process expenses.
- Create reports and assist the Finance Manager with the annual budget setting process.
- Assist the Finance Manager with audits.
Requirements for a successful Senior Finance Administrator
- AAT qualified or working towards.
- Demonstrable Finance Administration experience.
- Experience working within a school would be advantageous.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.

Salary: £26,348 - £28597
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent - term time only
Hours: Full-time
