About the Role:

We are looking for an engaging and innovative Art Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to A-Level studies. The successful candidate will have the ability to foster creativity, encourage artistic expression, and develop students' confidence in a supportive learning environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that inspire and challenge students.

  • Develop students' technical skills and creative abilities in a range of artistic mediums.

  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progression.

  • Organise and contribute to school exhibitions, displays, and extracurricular art activities.

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related field.

  • Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 & KS4; KS5 desirable).

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.

  • A passion for the subject and a commitment to fostering creativity.
