Role: Geography Teacher
Location: Bedford
Start Date: January 2025
Pay: £150 - £250 per day
Contract: Long Term
REED are currently working with a secondary school based in Bedford, supporting them recruit a Geography teacher to start from January 2025.
This position is long term initially, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent member of staff.
Key Responsibilities:• Deliver Geography lessons across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level• Engage students through creative and effective teaching strategies• Collaborate with the wider Humanities team to share best practices• Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum• Maintain high standards of teaching and learningThe Successful Candidate:• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)• Specialises in Geography• Possesses strong teaching skills and a passion for Geography• Is dedicated to making a difference to students' learning and progress• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and team-working abilities• Will contribute to a collaborative and supportive department environment
