REED are currently working with a secondary school outside of Bedford, supporting them recruit either a Drama teacher or Head of Drama to start as soon as possible. 

Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage the drama department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.• Develop and implement an inspiring and inclusive drama curriculum.• Direct and produce school plays, performances, and events.• Mentor and support drama teachers within the department.• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and achievement.• Collaborate with other departments to promote the performing arts across the school.• Maintain and develop links with external arts organizations and the local community.About You:• A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in teaching drama.• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a department or team.• A passion for drama and the ability to inspire and motivate students.• Strong organizational and communication skills.• A commitment to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
