Reed is currently working with a secondary school based around Bedford, supporting them recruit a Maths teacher to start full time from January 2025.Â
This position is long term with the opportunity to transition to a permanent contract.Â
Key Responsibilities• Teach Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging and effective lessons.• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.• Assess student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their understanding.• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student development.Requirements• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.• Experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level is preferred.• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.• Commitment to commuting to schools in and around Biggleswade.• Excellent communication skills and a passion for education.
