About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a PGCE to join a fantastic school in Kempston as an unqualified teacher. This full-time, long-term role will allow you to build on your teaching experience while receiving full support and training from a team of experienced professionals. You'll be working with students across various age groups, helping them achieve their academic potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons, working in collaboration with qualified teaching staff.
- Provide support for students in their learning and development, ensuring a positive classroom experience.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of students' personal, social, and emotional growth.
- Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) where required.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback to both students and senior staff.
We're Looking For:
- A recent graduate with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A passion for teaching and working with young people.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Enthusiasm for supporting students in their academic and personal development.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
- Ability to commute to Kempston
- While previous teaching experience is beneficial, it's not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
