About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a PGCE to join a fantastic school in Kempston as an unqualified teacher. This full-time, long-term role will allow you to build on your teaching experience while receiving full support and training from a team of experienced professionals. You'll be working with students across various age groups, helping them achieve their academic potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons, working in collaboration with qualified teaching staff.
  • Provide support for students in their learning and development, ensuring a positive classroom experience.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of students' personal, social, and emotional growth.
  • Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) where required.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback to both students and senior staff.

We're Looking For:

  • A recent graduate with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A passion for teaching and working with young people.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting students in their academic and personal development.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to commute to Kempston
