CQC COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATOR TO ACT AS CQC COMPLIANCE OFFICER - SOCIAL CARE

Our client, a new Domiciliary and Supported Living Care service, is seeking a part-time Compliance Officer, who may wishto progress to a full time Registered Manager a little later, to join their team in Bedford, Bedfordshire. The Compliance Officer will work 3 days per week and have experience as a Registered Manager. This personwill be responsible for ensuring the business follows all CQC requirements at all times, working alongside the company owner, the Director / Nominated Individual.

Based at the Bedford office and required to work 3 days per week (timing can be negotiable), the CQC Compliance Administrator will also be responsible for providing assistance to the Director who will be the Registered Manager to start up. The candidate needs strong CQC compliance knowledge as well as business development in Domiciliary Care and Supported Living for the elderly and those with Learning Disabilities and expertise to work alongside the owner, ensuring all compliance standards are upheld at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:
? To assist the Director in being responsible for client safety and commitment to safeguarding of vulnerable adults
? Assist the Director with the day-to-day operations of the business and ensure all CQC regulations are met for safe and effective Home Care and Support Living services to clients
? Manage all DBS checks, Right To Work checks and ensuring regulatory compliance is done for all staff
? Ensure all training is monitored in line with regulations
? Maintain accurate records and files of care workers and Clients

Experience Required:
? Compassionate and caring with a supportive and empathetic nature
? Excellent knowledge and expertise of CQC Regulations within the new framework for Domiciliary and Supported Living Care
? Professional with excellent time management and reliability skills
? Experience in risk assessments for Care services and individual care and support and knowledge of confidentiality, health and safety and abuse matters and safeguarding procedures
? Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills as well as strategy and implementation skills
? Previously have maintained clear and accurate records and followed statutory reporting and procedures
? Good understanding of regulatory responsibilities for a Domiciliary and Nursing Home service for the elderly and those with Learning Disabilities
? Relevant NVQ Social Care Qualifications - Level 5
A satisfactory DBS check, full UK driving licence and own vehicle and the above necessary qualifications will secure this role. A start date of 1 October 2024 is needed and a salary of between £18000 - £21000 is on offer, dependent on experience.
