Your new companyAt Nacro, every day as a CAS-2 Support Worker is an opportunity to make a tangible difference. You'll be part of an integrated team focused on meeting the needs of service users and driving positive outcomes. Your role is essential in fostering independence, supporting transitions, and building stronger communities.The Community Accommodation with Support, tier 2 (CAS-2) contract is a high-profile commission directed by the Ministry of Justice. Operating in every region across England and Wales. CAS-2 provides accommodation and support to low and medium risk offenders that are eligible for a home detention curfew or bail that would otherwise be held in prison because they do not have accommodation in the community. It is currently Nacro's largest single contract and is set to grow by 60% over the next 18 months!Your new roleNo two days are ever the same, and you will be managing your diary to meet the requirements of the role. You will meet with Service Users, discuss support needs and how we can help them to meet their objectives; complete Support and Safety Plans, work with Community Probation Practitioners and Court Staff to best support our Service Users. You will also need to be able to help our Service Users with applying for HB and paying rent etc. All of our properties require us to meet the Decent Homes Standard and to do that you will need a sharp pair of eyes to ensure that our houses are clean, tidy and all repairs are reported and actioned.What you'll need to succeedA willingness to interact with people through different communication methods and have the ability to amend style of communication to meet the needs of the customer. On behalf of Nacro, you will act with integrity and professional boundaries, ensuring the customers best interests are prioritised. You will also have excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload in relation to case management.You will also need to have a full clean UK driving license, access to a vehicle & Business Insurance as this role requires travelling within the community.What you'll get in return
