As we approach the second major release of the Programme, the requirement has arisen for someone to join the team to support the automation of our manual regression testing process.

This role is crucial in fulfilling that vision and ensuring that the products we provide are of a high quality. You will report to the Head of Software Engineering and work alongside a small, core team and our digital partners.

This opportunity should allow the successful candidate to expand their technical knowledge and expose them to various parts of the Horseracing Industry.

  • Working closely with other QA members, product managers, and other engineers to understand what needs to be tested and the best approach to automating those tests.
  • Ensuring smooth alignment between the internal Engineering function and our Development Partner.

We'd be looking for someone who has…

  • Extensive automated regression testing skills for Web Applications and Dynamics 365 Power Platform Applications.
  • Successfully automated an extensive manual regression suite
  • Is able to contribute to discussions around what needs to be tested and the most effective way of testing it
  • Is pragmatic in balancing test coverage with associated risk
  • The desire to collaborate closely with other QA members, Product Managers, Product Owners and Data Architects to challenge and support in delivering Racing Digital's vision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Katalon test automation.
