We are looking for a Test Management Engineer to coordinate and oversee all testing activities, ensuring successful delivery of R&D projects of our customer based in Cranfield, UK.
The role of an Engineer in the Test Management Group involves coordinating and delivering testing activities to support and bring R&D projects to market. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:
Scope of Work:
- Coordinate multiple large and/or small projects, ensuring they adhere to project schedules.
- Conduct testing through digital and/or physical evaluation of vehicle systems and products.
- Investigate concerns, perform root cause analysis, and develop countermeasures.
- Collaborate with various R&D areas to plan, prepare, and manage testing delivery and reporting.
- Prepare and issue necessary project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate engineering project activities.
- Manage project documentation and analyze information with attention to detail.
- Present testing status and concerns in milestone meetings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in engineering or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years) in automotive testing.
- General understanding of product development processes.
- Self-motivated and proactive in task management.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
- Confident communication for liaising with engineers and managers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, SharePoint, Word).
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is desirable.
- Experience in project management, data analysis, and electronic file management.
