We are looking for a Test Management Engineer to coordinate and oversee all testing activities, ensuring successful delivery of R&D projects of our customer based in Cranfield, UK.

The role of an Engineer in the Test Management Group involves coordinating and delivering testing activities to support and bring R&D projects to market. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:

Scope of Work:

  • Coordinate multiple large and/or small projects, ensuring they adhere to project schedules.
  • Conduct testing through digital and/or physical evaluation of vehicle systems and products.
  • Investigate concerns, perform root cause analysis, and develop countermeasures.
  • Collaborate with various R&D areas to plan, prepare, and manage testing delivery and reporting.
  • Prepare and issue necessary project documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate engineering project activities.
  • Manage project documentation and analyze information with attention to detail.
  • Present testing status and concerns in milestone meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in engineering or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years) in automotive testing.
  • General understanding of product development processes.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in task management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Confident communication for liaising with engineers and managers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, SharePoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is desirable.
  • Experience in project management, data analysis, and electronic file management.
