SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students with special educational needs.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support the learning and development of students.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students with personal care needs, if required.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
