Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group support to SEN and PMLD students.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and specialists to deliver tailored learning plans.
- Create and maintain a safe, engaging environment that fosters students' well-being and active participation.
- Assist with lessons, break times, and school activities to promote inclusivity and engagement.
- Help organize and prepare learning materials to enhance classroom experiences.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with SEN and/or PMLD pupils is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with children, staff, and families.
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility in adapting to varying learning needs.
- Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are a bonus, but not required.
- Flexibility and a willingness to take on varied learning challenges.
- Ideally local to Kempston with a reliable commute.
- A full driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
