Role: Part-Time/Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Offer one-on-one or small group support to SEN students, adapting materials to suit individual needs.
Assist the class teacher in fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to implement tailored learning plans.
Create a nurturing and safe environment that encourages student engagement and well-being.
Support students during lessons, break times, and other school activities.
Help prepare learning resources and materials.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEN is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students, staff, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting children's diverse needs.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are a bonus but not essential.
Ability to adapt to different challenges in the classroom.
Local to Bedford with a full driving license.
