Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Type: Full time / part time

Salary: £90-£100 P/D PAYE

Location: Bedford

Tradewind are currently working with a large mainstream school in Bedford who are looking for a SEN TA to join them immediately.

You will be working with a child with ASD who requires on-going support both within and outside the classroom. The child has a range of needs and you will be supported by another TA.

Our school is looking for an experienced SEN TA who is capable of utilising different strategies to regulate behaviour effectively throughout the day to ensure that progress is being made on a weekly basis.

You will be responsible for tracking progress and feeding back to parents and the SENDCO where appropriate.

  • A genuine interest in childcare and working with children with SEN
  • A reliable person who can provide consistency for SEN Children
  • Strong relationship builder with parents, staff and most importantly children
  • Previous experience with SEN would be highly beneficial - whether in a personal or professional capacity.
