As a Primary SEN Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored and engaging lessons to children with special educational needs. What is required:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning strategies to support children with a range of special educational needs.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create individual learning plans and monitor progress.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage children and encourage their development.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and contribute to the school's ongoing improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in special educational needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A strong commitment to the development and well-being of children with SEN.
  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
  • Experience with a range of SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities) is desirable, but not essential.
  • The ability to commute to Kempston
