SEMH Tutor Responsibilities:

Provide individualised tutoring in Functional Skills (Maths, English, ICT) and GCSE subjects to students with SEMH needs.
Support students in building their academic confidence, emotional resilience, and personal growth.
Adapt your teaching strategies to suit the unique learning styles and needs of each student.
Monitor student progress, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback to both students and families.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure a supportive and consistent learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

A passionate SEMH Tutor supporting students with SEMH needs and a commitment to pursuing a teaching career.
Experience in tutoring (preferably in Functional Skills and GCSE subjects) is beneficial, but not essential.
A strong desire to develop your teaching skills and learn effective strategies for SEMH support.
An empathetic, patient, and proactive approach with a genuine drive to help students achieve their potential.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset in working with students, families, and colleagues.
Ideally located in Bedford or able to easily commute to the area.
