Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to join an exciting team, making a real difference to the lives of students? 

As an SEN Teacher, you will provide tailored educational support to students with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with classroom teachers, teaching assistants, and the SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans and ensure that all students can thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities 

•    Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
•    Support students in developing social, emotional, and communication skills, promoting positive behaviour and self-esteem.
•    Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff to create a fully inclusive learning environment.
•    Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, providing regular reports to the SENCO and Senior Leadership Team.
•    Participate in regular training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in SEN education.
•    Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.


Essential Requirements

•    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
•    Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly in an educational setting.
•    A good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and experience of developing IEPs and differentiation strategies.
•    Strong communication and organisational skills, with a caring and patient approach.
•    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
