We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Tutor to join a fantastic and dedicated team in Flitwick. To help provide personalized, one-on-one support to students with a range of learning needs.

Role: SEN Tutor

Location: Flitwick

Pay: £130 - £150 a day

Sector: Education and Training

Hours: 08:30 - 16:30

SEN Tutor Responsibilities:

  • We Provide tailored tutoring sessions to students with SEN, focusing on their individual learning styles and needs.
  • Support students in both academic and social development, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and work with the wider school team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each learner.
  • Adapt and modify learning materials to ensure accessibility for all students.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with students, helping them to gain confidence and achieve their full potential.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or as an unqualified teacher looking to progress your career in the education and training sector is essential.
  • A compassionate, patient, and creative approach to teaching and supporting children with special educational needs.
  • A strong understanding of different learning difficulties (e.g., Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both students and other educational professionals.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children with SEN.
