Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Inpatient Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in hospitalized patients across diverse medical conditions. This role involves working within an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders related to medical conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurological disorders.

  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on improving communication and swallowing functions to enhance patients’ safety, independence, and quality of life.

  • Direct Therapy: Provide evidence-based treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders, adapting interventions based on patient needs and progress.

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, dietitians, and other professionals to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care.
