Advancing People are working closely with an established property business who are looking for a bright and ambitious Commercial Surveyor to join and lead their experienced team as a Land & Development Surveyor, based in Bedford.
This rarely available long term career opportunity will offer huge variety and scope to be involved with a large area of land and property development opportunity across the region, with a hands-on approach, whilst leading the team.
Consulting with land and property owners you will be looking to work closely with clients, developers and planners to maximise the chance of planning being granted for developments, whilst maximising the value of the ultimate sale.Our client can offer an enviable portfolio of clients that will be receptive to potential development opportunities for their land and/or properties, as well as dealing with commercial property management and professional services.
This is not a traditional Surveying role but much more of a consultative sales-focused bias, starting with initial consultation liaison with clients, planning departments and developers, through to completion.
You will be part of and will lead an established and talented team and will not be afraid to take risks and think outside the box.
A confident and outgoing personality is key - with the ability to speak to clients at all levels.
