Internal Sales Engineer

£25,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
- Work Life Balance Working hours 8.00 am to 16.30 Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 12.00pm Friday
- 20 days holiday increasing each year with continuous service.
- 5% Employer pension contribution once enrolled.
- Life Assurance Cover after completion of probation - 3 x gross annual salary. Discretionary annual bonus scheme - 3% of total company profit equally divided between all employees.
Working closely with the Sales Director you will build close relationships with customers and assist in securing new clients. This role will involve responding to technical sales enquiries, producing accurate and competitive quotes plus sourcing solutions to meet their needs.

- Strong sales background ideally within manufacturing / HVAC.

- Outstanding communication skills both written & verbal.
Experience within a similar role and an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. A strong disposition and professional telephone manner together with the ability to demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and interpret new and existing customer requirements
- Offer customers a product or service that best satisfies their technical specification, quality, price and delivery needs.
- Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to customers.
- Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships
- Calculate accurate and competitive sales quotations and prepare tenders, proposals, designs and technical documents to meet customer deadlines. (This will involve looking at technical drawings and talking to engineers/project managers. Full training will be given)
- Follow up quotations in a timely manner to secure profitable orders.
- Offer after-sales service and support to develop and grow long-term relationships Solve customer problems
- Contribute to our First-Class customer experience.
- Receive and accurately log customer sales enquiries for your product onto our customer database.
- Enter all sales orders onto Sage and raise relevant paperwork for.
Working for a small SME you will be required to work collaboratively and flexibly to meet the overall needs of the business, as and when required.
