If so Expleo have the opportunity for you. We are seeking a Test Engineer with experience within infotainment, to support the validation of infotainment electrical systems, navigation and audio systems on behalf of our globally successful Automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis.
Test Engineer responsibilities include:
* Develop testing methods & procedures for validation of Infotainment systems
* Ensure vehicle level quality, function and reliability standards are maintained with changes of Infotainment HW & SW
* Creation of test reports
* Root cause investigation
* Technical support to the production plant
* Management of suppliers
Background and skills required for the Test Engineer position:
* Ideally Degree level qualified
* Knowledge of software programming and software quality assurance
* Experience of software application into vehicle ECUs in the manufacturing environment
* Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans
* Understand network communications ie CAN, LIN
* Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections
Flexibility to travel, and a valid driving license are required for this role.
