EUC EngineerBedford Borough CouncilCorporate Services£33,024 - £35,745 pro rata per annumPart time, 18.5 hours per weekPermanentAn opportunity has arisen for a Part Time End User Compute (EUC) Engineer to join a friendly, supportive ICT/Technology Department.We are looking for an experienced End User Compute Engineer who will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and technically minded, with a proven track record in providing an efficient, effective, and professional ICT/Technology Installation service to the whole council including Directors and Members. This includes full hardware and software lifecycle management and resolving various ICT enquires/technical issues as they arise.You will be a member of the End User Compute team and also manage and support the installation and changes on a diverse range of EUC systems including but not limited to desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices and printers, ensuring the Software lifecycle management is managed including packaging, deployment of operating systems, patches and applications for end users. You will produce and maintain written procedures, standards and guides as required. Asset library management and accuracy needs is critical to this role; you will be expected to maintain accurate records, this involves creating, tracking, updating within a timely manner and ensuring compliance with company policies.You will need to have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, whilst always providing an outstanding service.For full job details visit our website.Closing date: 20th October 2024Interviews will be held week commencing 28th October 2024.
