In a nutshell…Our client is a global leader of construction and plant machinery. Their products are all over the world with a huge presence in the UK. They're at the leading edge of creating some of the best plant equipment with a huge following and customer base all.

Working within an established team you will play a pivotal role in covering the East Anglia area carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on a range of equipment from 1.5 - to 32 tonne. The ideal candidate will have a background in HGV, LGV, plant machinery or mechanical handling equipment.

What's involved for the Field Service Engineer…

  • Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial vehicles
  • Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work
  • Manage your own regional territory
  • Attend customer sites
  • Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on machinery
  • Fault find and diagnose electrical issues

What you'll need…

  • Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV, Agricultural, FLT, heavy plant machinery mechanical handling equipment background
  • MUST have mechanical and electrical experience
  • Ability to carry out fault finding and diagnostics
  • Hydraulic experience
  • Ability to interpret technical information
  • HGV Licence advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
