JOB TITLE -Fleet & Compliance Supervisor

LOCATION - Silsoe, Bedfordshire

SALARY - £28,000 - £30,000

My Client provide maintenance and fire safety solutions to the property sector with a growing team and customer base. With a geographical coverage spanning from the South Coast to Birmingham the team of field engineers, inspectors and support team are crucial in delivering a fast, reliable service. This role is essential in delivering a fleet that supports the team and enables us to continue to grow and create opportunities.

Leading our Fleet & Compliance team, you will oversee our vehicle fleet efficiently, provide reporting and support to our internal Operations teams, allowing us to ensure we can deliver great customer service to our clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The role provides the opportunity to develop and implement best practice and a long-term strategy to support the overall business strategy of growth into various sectors and a nationwide presence. You'll need to be self-disciplined, accountable, flexible and have the vision to design and implement new or improved processes and standards as the fleet and compliance needs increase.

  • Streamline and implement fleet management strategies and business processes to optimise operational efficiency and enhance fleet performance
  • Manage a team responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance, repairs and inspections
  • Deliver and identify areas for improvement within the Fleet & Compliance team
  • Manage and adjust reporting on key department statistics
  • Monitor and maintain a fleet procurement / replacement program
  • Oversee the insurance policy for both fleet and compliance for the business
  • Manage the renewal process on all accreditation schemes and programs
  • Proactively implement a training plan across the business for skill improvements
  • Provide a support function to the Commercial Director on Health & Safety requirements, internal auditing functions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Experience in fleet management and compliance / reporting
  • Business acumen including financial, analytical and commercial
  • Effective problem solving, planning and dispute resolution
  • Working independently and part of a wider supervisor team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
