Sonic Summary

The position available is for an experienced Workshop Supervisor based in Flitwick, working full-time on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities include customer interaction, scheduling workloads, ordering parts, conducting vehicle checks, and completing MOT tests if necessary.
Candidates must have previous workshop supervisor experience or be a senior mechanic, a valid MOT testing license, and an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience.
The role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a full driving license held for a minimum of three years with a maximum of three points.
The salary for this position is competitive, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm.

We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor based in Flitwick for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client are a well-established and busy MOT Centre and Service centre.

Responsibilities of theWorkshop Supervisor

Speaking with customers and booking jobs
Scheduling workloads.
Ordering relevant parts
You will be required to work on all makes and models of cars and vans and be committed to working to a high standard.
Undertaking Vehicle checks ensuring they are road safe and up to standard.
Complete MOT Tests if required.
Health & Safety Awareness.
Staff training.

Requirements for a successful Workshop Supervisor

Previous track record of workshop supervisor experience or senior mechanic leading a team.
Experienced MOT Tester – Valid MOT testing licence
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or time-served experience.
Excellent organisational skills and capable to work under pressure.
Great at leading and working as part of a team.
Hold a full driving licence for a minimum of 3 years. (Maximum 3 points)
