Connected Car Vehicle Test Technician - 12 month contract - Cranfield - £18.01-£19.00 PAYE per hour

Located in the heart of Cranfield, you will be part of a Centre of Excellence for design and development, where your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of vehicles manufactured for the European market.**What You Will Do:**- Prepare and maintain vehicles or components for test, ensuring compliance with local procedures and Engineering Manuals.- Support testing in both static and dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality data/results.- Engage in evaluation and concern identification, including liaison with Test Engineers.- Contribute to the delivery of Key Performance Indicators for the section.- Utilise your skills to provide support to other sections as required.- Execute test cases aligned to defined scenarios, analyse test results, and report on software quality, including defect identification and tracking.**What You Will Bring:**- Ideally a C&G / BTEC L3 in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, or a recognised Apprenticeship in a relevant field.- A working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report writing & presentation preparation.- Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.- Ability to manage and prioritise work effectively.- Strong communication skills and an interest in the latest smartphones and applications.- Understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools and system knowledge with the ability to fault find.**Company Contribution & Industry Information:**This role places you at the forefront of the automotive industry's evolution, contributing to the development of navigation and connected car technologies.
