Warehouse Operative
Location: Bedford
Hours:Â Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm (40 hours paid week)
Salary: £10 (18 to 20 years old) - £12.21 (21+)
Job Type: Full time, On-going Temporary
Our well-established Bedford based client is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis, with the potential for a long-term role for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work within a professional warehouse environment and grow their skills while contributing to the smooth operation of a fast-paced workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking Orders: Accurately selecting items from inventory using a handheld scanner to ensure correct order fulfilment.
- Packing for Dispatch: Preparing finished products for shipment, ensuring all items are securely packed and meet quality standards.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and free from obstructions to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting, particularly in picking and packing roles, is essential.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting and handling items on a regular basis.
- Punctual, dependable, and a strong work ethic, contributing to team success.
- Holding a valid FLT (Forklift Truck) license is highly desirable but not mandatory.
