About The Role:
They are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their Production team at their Wilden workshop. This is a permanent, full-time role offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Please note: Due to the location, own transport is essential, as public transport is not available nearby.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Fabrication of steelwork to the highest standards
Reading and working from technical drawings accurately
Welding components using the correct techniques and equipment
Meeting production targets and ensuring deadlines are met
Using company systems for daily workshop records (clocking in and out)
Collaborating as part of a team to ensure efficient production
Fabricate and assemble steel structures and components from technical drawings and specifications
Perform MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring strong, durable welds
Carry out pre-weld preparations, including cutting, grinding, and material preparation
Identify and report any mistakes in fabrication drawings or errors in workmanship
Highlight any structural conflicts in the build process, whether due to material constraints or welding limitations
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in welding and steel fabrication
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Previous welding coding certifications (advantageous but not essential)
A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
