My client is a leading building solutions company that have leadong contracts wiithin the Public, Private and Social Housing sector, need a experienced Contracts Manager who has ideally come from a trades background.

You will play a crucial role in project costs and financial controls. You will work closely with the commercial team and project managers to ensure effective budget management throughout all phases of construction projects, and the successful completion of projects in a timely manner.

What qualifications, skills and experience are we looking for?

  • Excellent management skills.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel to site for meetings.
  • Degree Qualification or relevant experience.
  • Experience of social housing and voids advantageous.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet key deadlines in a pressurised, target driven environment, whilst maintaining a customer focused ethos.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build positive relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment to achieve programme targets
  • Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
