Overview
We are recruiting for a Customer Service/Customer Care Rep for our well established client based in Caerphilly. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join this dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and analyse customer needs will be essential in ensuring a positive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and courtesy
  • Utilise effective phone etiquette to ensure clear communication and foster positive relationships with customers.
  • Analyse customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records and information.
  • Engage in upselling opportunities by identifying additional products or services that may benefit the customer.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and share best practices.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to provide informed assistance.
  • Discuss discrepancies with customer
  • Receive incoming sales orders from email and enter details onto ERP system

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
  • Ability to analyse situations quickly and make sound decisions based on customer needs.
  • Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competency with Systems, Excel, Outlook, and other web- based platforms (Smartsheet etc.)
  • Accuracy of data entry

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30
