- Have experience as a Bodyshop Controller within an Accident Repair Centre
- Have a strong knowledge of the workings of an Automotive Bodyshop
- Leadership Qualities and Supervisory Skills
- An up-to-date technical knowledge and skills
- Strong Communication skills with the ability to understand customer expectations
- Liaise with Centre Manager and productive team to ensure best process.
- Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the team.
- Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.
- To calculate and manage the effective use of the bodyshop.
- Plan the distribution of work among the team utilising available skills mix.
- Monitor the quality of work carried out on accident damaged vehicles and ensure work is carried out to a high standard.
- Identify individual training and development needs.
