Production Planner job vacancyat an award winning engineering manufacturer. The Production Planner will collaborate with colleagues, use data to create a production plan, and work with inventory suppliers to ensure materials availability for manufacturing. The Production Planner will be joining a growing 25m turnover engineering and manufacturing business. They design and manufacture in the UK, and export to an increasing number of countries.

41-45,000 salary 6% employer pension contribution, 25 days off (+BHols) & company bonus of roughly 5%.

Production Planner.

Take responsibility for materials availability by creating a production plan from confirmed orders and forecasts.

Create a production plan which allows colleagues to order inventory from suppliers. Inventory includes electrical components and mechanical assemblies.

Optimise the production plan to utilise manufacturing capacity, avoid peaks and troughs, and enable planned downtime.

Be a pro-active communicator with colleagues in sales, manufacturing, purchasing and warehouse.

Work on mid to long term projects like stock accuracy and obsolescence.
