A Good secondary school is currently seeking graduate teaching assistants to work across the school and play a vital role in shaping the minds of their learners. This position is perfect for anyone with a degree who is looking to start a career working with children or young adults.

Although the school is not looking for a graduates with a specific degree, they have said strengths in English, maths, art, music or PE would be advantageous.

Starting ASAP, this term-time-only role offers an excellent salary of£480 - £500 per week.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • 1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
  • Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
  • Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils in social and emotional well-being.
  • Ensuring all pupils feel valued and included in the classroom.

In this role, youll provide practical learning support to their learners under the guidance of the class teachers and SENCo.

You will need:

  • Passion and enthusiasm to shape the next generation.
  • Degree - 2:2 or above. Any subject
  • Have high expectations of teaching and learning.
  • Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
  • To have good communication skills
  • To be confident, self-assured and happy.
  • Be keen to develop as a professional
