Justteachers are working with a school in Bedworth, Warwickshire who are looking to appoint an excellent, passionate reception class teacher to join their team. This is a full-time role from September 2025 with a view to cover until the end of the academic year with potential of running into the next. Ideal candidates would be a teacher who demonstrates high quality teaching that encourages, challenges and motivates all children in their care. You will be passionate about providing the very best learning outcomes for children, have high expectation of childrens behaviours.

Duties:
- Deliver High-Quality Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of all children in the reception class, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Foster Positive Relationships: Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
- Encourage Development: Support childrens academic, social, emotional, and physical development, ensuring they meet age-appropriate milestones and targets.
- Create a Safe Learning Environment: Establish and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom where children feel confident to explore and learn.
- Behaviour Management: Set clear expectations for behaviour and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and classroom discipline.
- Assess and Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and track children's progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual needs and ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers and support staff to plan, implement, and review the curriculum, sharing best practices and resources.
- Communicate with Parents: Maintain open communication with parents and carers, providing updates on childrens progress and supporting their involvement in their childs learning.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up to date with educational practices.
- Promote Wellbeing: Support childrens emotional wellbeing and mental health, encouraging resilience, self-esteem, and independence.
