Are you a passionate Law and Criminology Teacher with a PGCE/QTS?

Twenty4Seven Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Law and Criminology Teacher to join one of our fantastic secondary schools in Warwick. This role starts in January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic, thought-provoking lessons on topics such as criminal law, civil law, legal systems, criminological theories, criminal justice processes, and human rights.
  • Support and Assess: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and help students achieve their academic goals in both Law and Criminology at Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Resource Development: Prepare and implement engaging resources, including case studies, real-world legal scenarios, and interactive debates, to make complex legal and criminological concepts accessible and engaging.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, respectful debate, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with colleagues to develop and enhance the Law and Criminology curriculum, and support school-wide academic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students in Law and Criminology.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK legal system, criminology theories, and criminal justice practices.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Experience teaching Law and Criminology at secondary school level is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learning needs and encourage independent research and critical thinking.
