SF are proud to be supporting our fantastic pharmaceutical client through a period of growth and as such, are on the lookout for an interim management accountant with the potential for permanent employment following an initial 6 month contract.

This role will be to start within the next week or two so immediate availability is required.

Temporary assistance is required to support the growth of this organisation as they nurture a start-up business. Duties to consist of:

  • Managing accounts of small start-up: producing financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries etc.
  • Communicating with the bank regarding finances
  • Collating information for shareholders
  • Using Xero to complete finance functions, including keeping
  • Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting
  • Day to day support for all BAU functions (including all aspects of finance)
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Support and training of an existing staff member
  • Implementing processes to deliver desired outcomes
  • Explore payroll solutions

The successful applicant will have a solid background within a management accounts role, be able to navigate Xero and have the confidence to suggest and implement new procedures, whilst guiding and training a member of your team.

You will also not be afraid to get stuck in and complete other general financial duties to support to the day to day running of the business getting involved with things such as credit control, bookkeeping and general accounting.

Hybrid working is offered with 2 days working from home and for the right applicant a part-time/4 days per week candidate will be considered.

You will be part-qualified & ideally have experience working for a small business.
