Progress Teachers are exclusively working with a lovely mainstream primary school in Beeston who are wanting to appoint a full time EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to join them from the new academic year.

You will be supporting EYFS pupils with SEND needs, providing 1-1 and group support both in the classroom and in a 1-1 setting. This is a full time role, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30.

Responsibilities:

• Work with pupils in EYFS with SEND on a 1:1 basis both in and away from the classroom
• Provide regular sensory breaks when pupils become dysregulated
• Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt your approach to meet the needs of each pupil
• Work collaboratively with the school SENCO and class teacher
• Contribute to the development of EHC plans
