ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN – Belfast

Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience

Reed Accountancy is delighted to working with a dynamic and established Accountancy Practice in Belfast who are seeking an Accounting Technician to join their growing team. The successful Accounting Technician will be instrumental in supporting their accounting operations to include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of year-end accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders/Partnerships.
  • Involvement in ad-hoc work projects including client transactions, M&A, raising finance etc.
  • Assist senior accountants with workflow on daily basis
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Ability to prepare accounts, financial statements and VAT returns individually and as part of a team.
  • Work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
  • Communicate financial information clearly and effectively
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience with cloud-based accountancy software’s.
  • Good IT knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word.
