Senior Auditor / Audit Assistant Manager

We are seeking a forward-thinking and energetic Senior Auditor or Audit Assistant Manager to join our expanding Audit and Accounts team. This role offers a variety of work across different sectors and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to excel in their career.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Work with the Audit Managers to ensure the effective delivery of a first-class audit service
  • Conduct efficient audit planning with a focus on risk assessment, staffing, and deadlines
  • Prepare and review financial statements and high-quality working papers
  • Supervise and deploy the assigned audit team during planning, fieldwork, and completion stages
  • Mentor junior members of the audit team and review their work to ensure quality and compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACCA or ACA qualified
  • Training contract completed in a majority audit role
  • Minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience (PQE) for Senior Auditor, 2 years for Assistant Manager role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
