Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Location: Belfast

Permanent, Monday - Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Accountant with 3 years’ experience to join a well-established accountancy firm.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accounts and ensuring adherence to Companies House regulations.

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising and reviewing the work of bookkeepers and accounting technicians.
• Providing tax advice, planning, and preparing annual tax returns.
• Managing direct communication and relationships with clients.
• Offering guidance and feedback on work submitted by colleagues and technicians.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
• Knowledge of payroll, VAT and other monthly returns.
• Fully or partially qualified (comparable to ICAEW, ACCA, or ICAI).
• Skilled in preparing final accounts, tax returns, and managing tax compliance using accounting software.
